Hi there! I’m K. J. Mahkêsiw (MAW-kay-so), an Indigenous, queer designer and social media specialist from Edmonton, Alberta. I've worked with individuals, small businesses, and non-profits on a wide range of projects including reports, posters, logo design, and more.

Design Policies
A.I. Use:
K.J. Mahkêsiw is committed to delivering high quality, original work – they do not use A.I. for any part of their process.
Refund Policy:
For larger projects, an up-front payment of 50% of the agreed-upon price is required before work begins. For smaller projects, such as ones from the shop, 100% of the payment is required up-front.
Payment is non-refundable except on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the designer. For example, if work is not completed by the agreed-upon deadline, a return may be issued.
Refusal of Objectionable Content:
The designer has the option to refund and refuse work if it has or represents objectionable content such as trademarked imagery, sexually explicit material, violence/cruelty, illegal acts, discrimination, hate speech, bullying, and profane or abusive language, or if the content asked for is outside of their skill range.
